Christopher Wolstenholme used an aluminum Noah Guitars Excalibur 50's precision model bass in the video for 'Uprising', though in 'The Making of Uprising' video, the second video from the ' Join the Resistance' campaign, he is shown to have recorded the song using a Fender Jazz Bass.
Wolstenholme purchased this bass in a guitar store in Italy in 2009 and only used it during the rest of The Resistance tour.
The bass has a stock 50's pickup mounted, but has also been customized with another quite large pickup at the bridge.
It can be seen on a photo from Chris' private studio.
