Announced on the 7th of June, Muse opened the European leg of The 2nd Law tour with a performance inside Park&Suites Arena on the 16th of October.[1] Members of the Muse website could enter a draw from the announcement until the 10th of June to gain the opportunity to buy tickets before general sale,[1] which started on the 14th of June at 10:00.[3]

Unsustainable, Explorers, Liquid State and Isolated System were played for the first time. Falling Down was played for the first time in nearly 12 years. The first part of Host was played for the first time in about 14 years. Undisclosed Desires was played for the first time in more than one year.

This is the first gig Matt has ever sung a song without playing an instrument. He did this for Follow Me and Undisclosed Desires, getting off the stage and walking up and down the barrier during the second half of the latter.
