Matthew Bellamy used an Ampeg Dan Armstrong in the Supermassive Black Hole video. It is a see-through guitar created by Dan Armstrong in 1969. It has custom removable pick-ups, a 3-way tone circuit and a 24-fret hard maple neck. Floria Sigismondi, the director of the video, decided to put a piece of "wallpaper" on the guitar to make it original. As far as we know, this guitar was only used for the video.
