Description
An instrumental piece which was some times played before Overdue and during various concerts since. For The Resistance tour, Nishe has been used whilst Matthew Bellamy's piano is wheeled on stage in darkness, for United States of Eurasia.
The bass-line bears some similarity to the lead guitar part of Rage Against the Machine's Bullet in the Head.
Oceansize's "Rinsed", the fifth track of their debut album Effloresce (2003), bares resemblance to the bass riff of "Nishe". This suggests that Oceansize, who along with Muse are oft-placed within the new prog genre, may have been influenced by Muse's earlier work.
