Las Vegas T-Mobile Arena
T-Mobile Arena is an indoor multi-purpose arena, located on the famous Las Vegas Strip, near the New York-New York and Park MGM Casino hotels, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Designed by Populous, the arena is a joint project between MGM Resorts International and Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), and it opened in 2016, with the plan for it unveiled back in 2013. Both AEG and MGM Resorts International are 42% owners of the arena each, together with businessman Bill Foley, who owns the rest (15%). The arena is operated by MGM Resorts International. It's overall capacity stands at 20,000.
The T-Mobile arena is home to Vegas Golden Knights of NHL and Ultimate Fighting Championship. As such, the arena hosts up to four UFC events per-year, together with several NHL hockey games. It was the host venue for three games of the 2018 Stanley Cup Finals. In 2022, the arena became home to PBR (Professional Bull Riding) Team Series Championship, with PBR World Finals held at the arena between 2016 and 2019. Apart from sports, the arena pays host to several concerts every year. Country artists Martina McBride and Cam performed a soft opening when the arena was built. Other musical artists that performed inside the arena include Dixie Chicks, U2, Tool , The Killers, Elton John and more.
