Information
Announced on October 27th, 2022, Muse performed at MTV Europe Music Awards. The event took place on November 13th, 2022 in Düsseldorf's PSD Bank Dome.[6] Muse performed at the ceremony, hosted by Taika Waititi and Rita Ora, together with Gorillaz, Lewis Capaldi, David Guetta, Ava Max and Bebe Rexha.
This was Muse's first performance at the MTV EMA ceremony in ten years, when they performed at MTV Europe Music Awards in Frankfurt, coincidentally, both taking place in Germany. Also Muse's first performance in Düsseldorf (albeit just one song) in 16 years. An interview with Muse from the red carpet can be seen here.
The band went on to win the award for "Best Rock" category during the show. During their acceptance speech, Matt dedicated the award to Ukraine and the woman of Iran.
The Show
Muse performed Will of the People, accompanied by a group of dancers wearing WOTP masks - similar to the dancers from the Simulation Theory World Tour. The burning logo from the Will of the People Festivals Tour was displayed on an LED screen behind the band. Pyro was also used.

The award show was broadcast on MTV in 180 countries, and livestreamed on MTVEMA.com. The show will be available globally on Paramount+ and Pluto TV starting Monday 14 November.
