Information
Added on muse.mu on May 25th, 2022, before being quickly deleted, with an official announcement by the festival and the band made a day after, on May 26th, Muse headlined the 2022 edition of the Aftershock Festival. The gig took place in Sacramento's Discovery Park, in California, USA, on October 9th, 2022. This will mark Muse's first performance at the festival.
As with the Rock In Rio Festival in Lisbon, Muse were filling in for Foo Fighters, after their withdrawal from the festival, following the passing of their drummer, Taylor Hawkins.
The Show
Allthough it was a festival gig, Muse changed up the standard festival setlist, dropping Madness completely, replacing Pressure with Stockholm Syndrome, Nishe with Minimum and Compliance with New Born, while You Make Me Feel Like It's Halloween replaced Thought Contagion. The festival rotation slot was also dropped, and instead replaced with We Are Fucking Fucked.
