Muse were nominated for three 2011 Grammy Awards[1][4][5] and performed for the 53rd Annual Grammy Awards.[1][3]
Resistance was nominated on the "Best Rock Song" and "Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals" categories. The Resistance album was nominated and won the "Best Rock Album" category, making the first time that Muse won a Grammy Award. The award was given by the rock band Paramore.[6]
