Background
This guitar bears resemblance to the Manson Matt Black Stealth in it's controls and features, but is also reminiscent of the Manson Red Glitter and the Cort MBC-1 Matthew Bellamy Signature Guitar Red Sparkle, except this guitar features a gloss red finish with no glitter and has no Kaoss Pad.
Manson Guitars Works announced a new signature range at their show in November 2017 in celebration of 25 years - releasing the remaining ten early editions of a numbered Manson DR-1, The Manson MB-1TBK, a new Improved model of the Manson MB-1S, the Manson MB-1S2.0 and the Manson MB-1RA, along with a new signature for Mikey Demus from Skindred.
The guitar was replaced in 2022 by the Manson Fire Red. Visually very similar to the Red Alert, the guitar is covered in satin red, or "Fire Red", as Mansons reffer to it. It also has black hardware, as opposed to Red Alert having chrome hardware, and it also has a humbucking Sustainiac pickup.

The Red Alert was tuned to DGDGBE. It was labeled by Matt's tech as "5" and "Drop D" and was used exclusively for Uprising.
