TV-Huset (translated to TV House in English) in Stockholm is a studio complex located in Stockholm, Sweden. The studios are owned and operated by Swedish National Television (SVT). The building was designed by architects Erik Ahnborg and Sune Lindström and opened in 1967. When opened, the studios were fully operational to film color TV programmes. The first TV show was filmed in 1969.
Throughout the years, the building got many additional studios built next to it and with it also an office building, housing the management of SVT. The building and studios 1 through 5 were renovated in 2011 through 2012 to accomodate for HD format filming and broadcasting.
