Jack Garratt

Jack Garratt is a British multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter from Little Chalfont, Buckinghamshire.

Garratt started his musical career way back in 2005, when he took part in the Junior Eurovision Contest in Belgium. His song The Girl finished at 8/8 with 13 points. Following that, he said "That was the first time I tried to achieve anything as a musician but my intentions were wrong. I did it more for attention rather than for a love of what I was doing."

Following signing the contract for an independent label, he started working on the album Nickel and Dime in 2012, which he shortly abandoned after saying he wasn't proud of the songs he was writing. In 2013 however, he started writing songs again and in 2014 released his first EP Remnants. After being playlisted on BBC Radio 1 and headlining the BBC Introducing stage of the Reading and Leeds festivals, performing at the iTunes festival and supporting Mumford and Sons in 2015, he released his debut LP Phase on February 19th, 2016, which was awarded with the Critics' Choice Award at the 2016 Brit Awards.

In 2017, he co-wrote and produced Katy Perry's song Power from her album Witness.

Garratt has supported Muse during the selected June dates (3rd June - Berlin, Germany; 4th June - Prague, Czech Republic; 6th June - Hamburg, Germany; 8th June - Copenhagen, Denmark) of the Drones World Tour in 2016.
