Muse shall be supporting Rage Against the Machine along with Rise Against in July.[2][3][4][5] The event was announced on the 17th of April via the Coachella Facebook profile[4] and named implicitly by music-business marketer Wayne Kamemoto, in a comment in said Facebook thread on the 21st.[1] The Rage Against the Machine website confirmed the event on the 18th.[5]

Given that L.A. Rising was announced via the Coachella Facebook profile[4] and that Coachella is organised by Goldenvoice,[6] it may be that L.A. Rising shall take place within a venue operated by said organiser. Assuming that that is the case, the possibilities are limited to Avalon, City Hall, Club Nokia, Downtown Palace Theatre, The Forum, The Greek Theatre, Hollywood Palladium, John Anson Ford Amphitheater, Los Angeles Union Station, Mayan Theatre, The Mint, The Music Box, Nokia Theatre, Orpheum Theatre, El Rey Theatre, The Roxy Theatre, Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall, Spaceland, Staples Center, UCLA Royce Hall and The Wiltern.[7]
