Naill, do you have access to the raw setlist poll data (in readable form)? I'd like to do a little statistical analysis on it, write a short article about the polls and link to said article from numerous other articles so as not to have to elaborate on the polls at every mention. If you don't, who do you reckon is the right person to ask? --[[User:Tene|Tene]] 22:33, 5 September 2010 (BST) |

Promo query
Hello Niall! Seeing as you're pretty much the expert on Muse collecting, I was just wondering what you thought would be a reasonable price to pay for a Muse promo from the a)Showbiz era [MUSE 1-10] b)OoS era [MUSE 11-20]? I have spotted a few on eBay that are going for £7-8 as buy-it-now items (mainly OoS ones), which I though was an okay price to pay. I know they're not exactly rare but they usually sell for £10+ in listings so I thought I'd just get an estimate from you if you don't mind. Cheers =]
OHH and one other thing.. (soorry to bombard you like this lol).. I've also been wondering what the best price for Japanese versions of albums would be? I've not found many below £25, which seems a little steep.. but then again my searching skills aren't as adept as yours lol.
Thanks in advance =]
Collection
Pretty big collection you have! I'm trying to collect some singles myself. I stole your idea of keeping a list on my user page. What do you do with all those CDs? You keep them in a box, display them or something? I'm thinking about building some sort of wall display. Also saw you don't have the BX Bliss card-sleeve single. I got a double but don't know how I should get it in the UK and how it works with payment (got no Paypal) and so on... --BenjiWL 19:53, 12 August 2007 (BST)
Starlight promo
Off-topic - May I ask where you bought yours from? --Tene 20:01, 23 August 2006 (BST)
- Sure, got it off eBay for about £6 inc. delivery...it's the cheapest one on there though, most go for about £8-£10 as far as I've seen.۞ 23:38, 23 August 2006 (BST)
Knights of Cydonia - 3 for £5 or whatnot
Did you manage to find a good deal on KoC then? Or is HMV the best deal this time round? --Tene 18:51, 24 November 2006 (GMT)
nice collection!
very impressive collection you have here --Wilfio
Stockholm Syndrome
I was wondering, the USA single for Stockholm Syndrome; does it have the US version of the video on it? If so, would you be willing to sell your duplicate?--Frozenjakalope 20:43, 10 January 2007 (GMT)
BHaR re-release
First of all, thanks for pointing it out in the thread about the possible BHaR tour DVD thread, wouldn't have ordered it, nor been aware of it otherwise.
Secondly, will the Australian version be different aside from not having an obi strip? I don't want to miss out on some extra material :P
Thirdly, where do you get all this information from? :/ --Tene 11:37, 16 January 2007 (GMT)
Using and ampersand ...
I hope you've got a good way of getting that page back ...
Edit: Nevermind, editing the redirect works.
Work on the memory though!--Tene 19:18, 26 February 2007 (GMT)
Unreleased songs
Lollabaloo to the category Unreleased Songs because there's already the category Unreleased songs. HAHA. **dies** It was just to joke a little bit. Then, excuse me for my stupidity, you are just so musian that I'm jealous. :( SSBMboss 21:06, 17 April 2007 (BST)
Hey, get a grip, easy tiger that rusty one, cheers ! And oh, next song is called Starlight. Er I mean, ok I was just wondering why there are the two categories on the category page. ^^" SSBMboss 21:27, 17 April 2007 (BST)
Muse messageboard
I have sent you a PM on the Muse Messageboard there's a few days, just read it. ><
If I don't put my name, it's obvious you can't read, I'm stupid. XD SSBMboss 23:08, 22 May 2007 (BST)
Escape
Hi I'm quite new to MuseWiki. Tried to log in a few months back but the browser just didn't catch on my e-mail confirmation. About my "alternate" for Escape, is there a place on the forum or muse.mu where the band has given meanings? (or a link from here) coz I'm looking forward for them.
By the way, quite impressive collection you've got! Mine's the four albums, AT DVD and the single for TIRO :(--Fluence51 17:31, 13 July 2007 (BST)
Can't you....
....redirect "Songs" on the nav bar to our song anthology? You're an admin, aren't you? 7 02:25, 15 January 2008 (GMT)
- Oh the power... but nope, I'm not sorry! What you could do is stick the contents of our page (and of course c/p the talk page) on the top of the category page, and have the link jump down the page with '#Alphabetical_list'. Here's one I made earlier. The shortcut link at the top doesn't work anymore of course but it will do if that's what we go with. ۞ 14:05, 15 January 2008 (GMT)
Formats
I suggest including 24-bit/192kHz FLAC. wav's aren't a very good idea to rely on really, no internal checksums, hashes or anything. With 24-bit/192kHz (same as DVD-A) people would be able to remaster, slow it down, speed it up, remix it, or otherwise alter it without as many rounding errors and whatnot. Don't mess with the levels before it's in digital form. Might seem a bit overkill, but given the significance of what's being ripped for one time and one time only.... --Tene 18:32, 2 March 2008 (GMT)
Btw, I say don't mess with the levels before it's in digital form, so that there's a copy that hasn't been altered at all. Then anyone can listen to that copy or remaster it themselves. --Tene 18:46, 2 March 2008 (GMT)
Bliss Scan
Any chance i could get a high res scan of the bliss single cover? CD1 and CD2 would be great but either of them on their own would be fine too :) --Wilfio 21:05, 20 May 2008 (BST)
Invincible DVD cover
Hey, could you do me a huge favour and scan the Invincible DVD cover in hi-res for me please? -frozenjakalope 22:31, 29 May 2008 (BST)
Tracking template usage
Yes, you're right. I'd been under the (wrong) impression, for some bizarre reason, that "what links here" included a counter. --Tene 09:13, 19 July 2008 (BST)
SpaceDemented
Didn't realise you were SpaceDemented! keep up the good work :) --Wilfio 23:45, 28 January 2009 (GMT)
Symphonic song / United States of Eurasia
I don't think it's just pure speculation that these song are the same. Matt has said that the symphonic song is the only orchestral song and we have seen scores with the USoE title. Obviously other songs could have scores too, but right now on musewiki it looks like the two songs are completely different when they could easily be the same song and i was just pointing this fact out. I don't propose merging the pages or anything like that but for clarification i think it would be better to state the possibility that the songs could be the same. --Wilfio 16:59, 26 June 2009 (BST)
- Except the score for Uninted States of Eurasia isn't for a orchestra, it's for a string quartet, which indicates on the contrary - it is not the Symphonic song but another standard Muse song with backing strings. See here for the related discussion. Niall 17:04, 26 June 2009 (BST)
- Well the discussion says that it may not be for a string quartet either. It's hard to tell by just looking at the clefs. I still think it would be useful to state that the symphonic song and USoE may be the same song to help new users. --Wilfio 18:01, 26 June 2009 (BST)
- Okay, so even if it's not for a quartet...it's not for an orchestra. New users doesn't equal stupid users. People know there is a song called USE and they know there is a Symphonic song. And there are plenty of Muse songs that use strings, CE, CoD, Blackout, B&H, Hoodoo...none of them are symphonic. Let's leave it as is until we get more info which will be fairly soon AFAIK Niall 18:12, 26 June 2009 (BST)
De groeten van Chrissie ;)
Haha cheers Niall, you're awesome :) I have actually been on here a while but I'm still a Wiki n00b lol... it appears my profile's been deleted so I know what I'm doing tomorrow ;) :p and Jesus Christ - you own the mecca of Muse releases! :O <3 xxx

A personal request, nothing to do with the wiki-- would you upload whichever the latest preview of USoE is somewhere please? Linux geek without flash and so forth >.> --Tene 07:18, 18 July 2009 (BST)
- Here's a link to an MP3, enjoy! I'll put a hideously degraded version up here for the article at some point. Niall 13:09, 18 July 2009 (BST)
- Thanks a lot ^^. --Tene 21:29, 18 July 2009 (BST)

Live Visuals
Hey Niall, i don't suppose you have any idea who does the visuals at muse gigs do you? The video elements especially. Or do you know anyone i can get in contact with who might know? I want to see if they have any work experience opportunities ha. Wilf Talk 13:53, 10 September 2009 (BST)
- Probably best to email Sam Sparrow and see if she can out you in touch with someone, otherwise I'm not sure which company does them! Niall 13:55, 10 September 2009 (BST)

Reading Earls Court
What are the Reading 2002 and Earls Court 2004 DVDs? Swedol 12:18, 25 September 2009 (BST)
- DVD master copies of pro shot footage. They're kept in a locked cupboard in the Muse offices. Niall 20:59, 24 January 2010 (GMT)
Resistance poster
So who demanded that you delete it? --Tene 15:04, 26 January 2010 (GMT)
- No one actually, turned out to be a fake being sold from a few usually trustworthy online poster shops, made be stealing someone's rather well made fan art from Deviantart it seems =/ Niall 16:39, 26 January 2010 (GMT)
- Ah, fair enough. I assumed malice. :P --Tene 17:01, 26 January 2010 (GMT)
Why deleting the page on the Vieilles Charrues 2010 ?
I'm not the venue, I'm following the examples of other pages for gigs... Why did you delete it ? while I was editing it ?Verdy p 13:17, 25 March 2010 (GMT)
- The whole lot needed to be deleted anyway since it didn't use any standard templates and contained a lot of irrelevant logistical information that had been copied and pasted from the venue site. Which I will now have to do again. Niall 13:43, 25 March 2010 (GMT)
