Announced on the 14th of December,[1] Muse performed inside Pacific Coliseum in April 2010. Ticket pre-sale will spanned from 13:00 on the 14th[1] until 18:00[2] on the 17th through Concertmaps, 10:00 on the 17th through Live Nation and 10:00 on the 18th through 99.3 The Fox, Georgia Straight and Twitter while general sale will started on the 19th.[1]
This was the first time Muse have returned to Vancouver in 6 years.[3]
Local radio station 99.3 The Fox held a Muse contest where listeners had to type in the name of the Muse song on the website right after it played on the radio. The prizes included one grand prize to see Muse in Las Vegas and five backstage passes for two and a chance to meet the band.
Prior to the show, Matthew Bellamy and Dominic Howard stopped by 99.3 The Fox to have a chat. The interview can either be heard on The Fox website or searched for on YouTube. The band talk about being pranked on April Fool's Day, the Capilano Suspension Bridge and coming back to Vancouver.
There was a longer than expected delay after the Silver Sun Pickups played their set and the crowd became restless and started to do the Wave. [watch]
During United States of Eurasia, during the final Phyrgian riff, Bellamy hummed along while playing. The eyeballoons were released during Plug In Baby.
After Knights of Cydonia, Dom threw his drumsticks into the crowd and Chris threw his plectrum while Matt stood around continuing to play the song until they left the stage.
