This concert was announced on the 2nd of September, while ticket sale and venue details were broadcast at 08:00 through French Virgin Radio, on the morning before the concert.[2] Tickets were available to people paying at the venue's doors only.[1] Although ticket sale was first stated to have been open to people paying with cash only, this was a mistake. It was in fact open to purchase with cash, cheque or credit card.[3]
