Information

A performance for Rockpalast,[3] a German music television show on WDR.[3] Matt partook in an internet chat during the festival.[3]

The Show

During the solo of Sunburn, Matt caught a button on the piano which changed the piano's tone making it sound a lot lighter and brighter.

Matthew Bellamy had a little problem during the intro of Plug In Baby with the fuzz factory, prompting him to say "Someone's pulled the plug...Gotta sneaky suspicion who it is".

Balloons were released during Bliss

Attire

The band were clad mostly in black. Bellamy wore black jeans, along with a black jacket which had red & white zippers and a long neck. The same jacket is featured in the New Born music video. Dominic Howard wore a black t-shirt and blue jeans, as did Christopher Wolstenholme. While Bellamy's hair was clearly waxed, it was not spiked in the same manner as with later concerts in the Origin of Symmetry era, such as at the Le Zenith gigs in Paris, nor was it dyed black yet.

Speech

After Micro Cuts Bellamy "Cheers."
After New Born "Thank you."
After Showbiz "Vielen Dank."
After Citizen Erased "Vielen Dank."
Before Plug in Baby "Someone's pulled the plug...Gotta sneaky suspicion who it is."
Before Bliss "Thank you very much we're called Muse this is our last song, this song is called Bliss, thank you, good evening to you..."

Media

The show was broadcast over television[3] and streamed over the internet.[3]

In the mid-2019, the full concert in HD quality was uploaded to the Chinese video sharing website, Bilibili. The video can be viewed here. It appears the upload came from a broadcast on WDR's own HD TV channel. The same footage was later uploaded to YouTube and can be viewed here.

An FM radio sourced audio recording in lossless (FLAC) format can be found on MuseBootlegs here as well as a TV broadcast sourced audio recording, also in lossless (FLAC) format, here.
