Background
This guitar is similar to the Manson Chrome FR, except this guitar features an uncovered pickup, based on the Manson Matt Black Stealth (batch)#Manson Matt Black Stealth - #1, with both new guitars having the new Floyd Rose whammy controller system. The YES/NO switch sits in place of the tone control knob. This could be the rumoured new feature referred to in the Patented MID1 Manson.
These guitar body shapes mark a departure from previous Manson's that feature a Floyd Rose, as they do not have the rounded "Lozenge" shape as seen on the Chrome Bomber and the Stealth Bomber .
It has been used live during Muse's latest US tour for Summer 2017.
Songs used for
The Black FR is used for any songs requiring Drop D Tuning.
