Muse headlined the festival after their latest performance at the same festival, 14 years ago in 2002.
This gig ended up being extremely reminiscent of the gig at Tokyo Zepp in August 2013. Lots of rare songs and b-sides were played, and the band dressed up in their Panic Station video costumes for the encore.
During The Groove, Matt mixed up the lyrics and swapped the first and second verses.
Mercy closed a show for the first time.
Hyper Music, Fury, The Groove, Futurism, and Micro Cuts were all played for the first time since the beginning of the Drones World Tour. Agitated, Butterflies and Hurricanes, Assassin, and Panic Station were played for just the second time on the tour.
Fury was recorded in mp3 form and was released as the 2016 muse.mu Christmas present.
