Description
'Supremacy' sees the band going to "absurd levels," according to Matt. Spiralling swamp blues of the track builds to a climax of orchestral hysteria as Matt orates a terrifying scene of mankind losing its supremacy over the Earth as "the seas have risen up" and energy shortages cause global desperation.[1]
According to a French magazine, Jeuxactu, the song has elements of "Kashmir" from Led Zeppelin in its guitar riff and orchestration.[2] The main drum beat is very similar, albeit in a slower form, to the drum beat at the slow section of the Arctic Monkeys' "Crying Lightning" towards the end of the song.
During the post-Madness debut interview on Radio One with Zane Lowe, Matt said the song had a "big 7-string riff."
This song has been compared to Led Zeppelin and a James Bond theme tune.
Information
By error of Bellamy, Howard, Wolstenholme or Kirk, the name of the song was leaked by a photo on Twitter, until it was deleted.

"SUPREMACY...a terrifying scene of mankind losing its supremacy over the Earth as "the seas have risen up" and energy shortages cause global desperation."
Lyrics
Wake to see Your true emancipation is a fantasy Policies have risen up and overcome the brave Greatness dies Unsung and lost invisible to history Embedded spies Brainwashing our children to be mean
You don’t have long I am on to you The time, it has come to destroy Your supremacy
You don’t have long I am on to you The time, it has come to destroy Your supremacy
