The Avalon VT-737sp is a combination of tube preamplifiers, opto-compressor, sweep equalizer, output level and VU metering. Matt uses it for distorting his vocals and is switched on and off by a Custom Switch on his pedalboard.
The Avalon VT-737sp replaced the Sansamp PSA 1.1 which was used prior to the Resistance Tour.
