In 2003 Matt started using Rackmounted Effects, all controlled by MIDI from his pedalboard as well as switching Amplifiers and Amp Channels, these also could be controlled from the rack by his Guitar Tech so Matt could move around the stage more without worrying about getting back to the board for effects or Amp channel changes
