Description
An electronic cross between 'I Want To Break Free' and 'Faith'. "You've had a fight with your girlfriend and she goes off to her mum's house for the day and you're on your own going: "What did I say?"" says Matt, describing the song's inspiration. "I'm sure a lot of blokes have that experience in the early stages of relationships where you go: "Yeah, she's right, isn't she?".[1]
A calm, minimal song, electronic arrangements remind of Depeche Mode. [2]
Matt said that the song first started as a pure 3 piece band song and eventually developed in a pure electronic song, with samples.
Information
By error of Bellamy, Howard, Wolstenholme or Kirk, the name of the song was leaked by a photo on Twitter, until it was deleted.
In an NME article Madness was confirmed to be the second single.
Music video
So far, the only proof that there will be a music video for the song are some behind the scenes clips and photos on the internet, featuring SWAT marching in the underground station and having a fight with the rioters.
The video is being shot in Los Angeles, USA.
Apparently, the video is being shot by Skoti Collins production company.
