Origin

A brand new guitar built by Hugh Manson to replace Bellamy's original Red Glitter Manson which was damaged beyond repair after being dragged off the tower by a curtain at Los Angeles Staples Center, in September 2010. The new guitar has a more even coat of glitter and a black XY Pad frame as opposed to its predecessor which bore 4 distinct lines of glitter and an alloy XY Pad frame.

Additional Information

Official replicas of the Red Glitter and Seattle Manson can be bought from the Manson online store. The MB-1 range (Matt Bellamy series 1) has a starting price of £3099 for a Black basic version with no midi screen or Manson hardware. To upgrade to a Red Sparkle Finish would be an extra £200, To upgrade to a MIDI Screen would be an additional £300 so an identical one to Matt's costs £3599. To have the Alloy Machine Heads like on Matts 'Delorean and' 'Son of Delorean/Ali Top' Guitars would be an extra £250.

Touring

This guitar got its first outing on 21st October 2010, at the Quebec City Pepsi Coliseum, where it already began to inherit the spirit of its predecessor by being thrown into Dom's china cymbal.
