Possibly, but a lot of what Matt says is liable to inconsistencies. Besides, if you look at Tim Stark (Hugh Manson's right hand man)'s Facebook [http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=103012909758987&set=a.103012633092348.4445.100001508349757&pid=25980&id=100001508349757 photos], you can see a brand new body being built with the neck hollowed out for what is most likely electronics. It's no modification - if it is, it's a hell of a big one. [[User:Oscillator26|Oscillator26]] 2010/11/03 | Possibly, but a lot of what Matt says is liable to inconsistencies. I believe that the evidence for Starks facebook page points to the fact that this is a separate keytar from the keytarcaster. --[[User:SC-1 Standard|SC-1]] 20:44, 9 November 2010 (GMT) |

I'm still feeling a little dubious about this being considered a completely different guitar. Are you completely sure Matt didn't just have neon lights fitted on the Keytarcaster?--Muserism 02:26, 24 July 2010 (BST)
It says on mansons.uk that this is a new 'guitar' - http://www.mansons.co.uk/news/2010/68.html -- Guitarcam
Yeah, but it says the "new" Casinocaster had its debut as well, so how do we know what the site considers to be new? --Muserism 02:26, 24 July 2010 (BST)
They look different to me (apart from the obvious). The Keytarcaster has 9 buttons beneath the keyboard, which are smaller and placed on a darker binding, as opposed to the Keytar which has a white binding and eight buttons beneath the keyboard. It's possible this changed if/when he had neon lights fitted to the Keytarcaster, but at the moment the evidence swings in the "two different instruments" direction. -- Oscillator26 -- 2010/10/28
This is true, however, in Guitar Player July 2010 Matt says "I had a custom keytar built" not "I had two custom keytars built." I think it's the same keytar but modified. --PhiLam64 22:00, November 1, 2010.
