The Monte del Gozo Auditorium is an open-air music venue situated approximately 3 kilometers away from the city of Santiago de Compostela. It was built in 1993 as a welcome site for the pilgrims of the Way of St. James. It's mostly unused except for a few concerts every year or when there is a Holy Compostellan Year (whenever July 25 falls on a Sunday; the next will be 2010).
