This was Muse' first proper gig outside of Devon,[1] as opposed to the gig at the same venue two years earlier which was self-financed and for friends only. Only one paying person attended,[1] which Matthew Bellamy recalled in 2008 as having been their manager,[3] Phil Korthals.
