The concert was part of the first European leg of The Resistance Tour, in support of the album The Resistance, announced on the 1st of June, 2009. General sale started on the 17th.[1]

This was where the music video for Resistance was filmed. The video combined footage from the entire night of the gig, as well as some clips of the audience piling in beforehand.
