This was the first time Muse have performed in Newport since November 2001 as part of the Origin Of Symmetry Tour.
The Show
Futurism was played for just the third time ever. Assassin was played (in its extended form) for the first time since 2007.
Hullabaloons were released during Bliss, marking the first use of the Hullabaloons since the end of The Resistance Tour in 2011.
The gig notably also contained no songs from The 2nd Law, marking the first gig since 2012 to not feature any from said album. Gig also marked also the first time that songs released after Black Holes & Revelations have been played in Wales.
