Information
Apocalypse Please was played during the sound-check. Matthew Bellamy hit his face with his seven-string guitar during the beginning of Citizen Erased. He tried to continue, but decided to stop and was taken to hospital.[source?]
There are conflicting—or rather ambiguous—testimonies regarding what number on the set Citizen Erased was, however it appears that it was 5th.[1]
According with attendants, Matthew said "I'm sorry guys, I fucked up my face."th.[1]
Media
Someone recorded the incident and uploaded it to YouTube and the video can be watched here. A clip containing a small part of each song from the gig can be seen here.
