Announced on January 7th, 2022, on Muse's social media[2], the single was out on January 13th, at 3PM, GMT, together with it's music video.[3] This is the first single from the upcoming album.

The creator of the cover art is still unknown, but the aesthetic is very reminiscent of English alternative metal band Sleep Token.
