Information
Revealed by Muse on August 12th, 2020, an upcoming live film, based around the latest album, Simulation Theory, is set to be released in select IMAX cinemas on August 17th, 2020 with digital planned on being released on August 21st and a deluxe box-set (to be released on 11th December), featuring a 5.1 DTS Master Audio Blu-Ray, together with an LP, both with audio from the film, paired with a Casette of the film score, which was written by Bellamy himself.
The film will differ to other live films in that it includes a movie-like story, based around the live show with Muse Dancers acting out certain scenes. The trailer for the movie can be seen here.
The box set will also include a limited edition poster and comic, based on the story of the film. The poster and the comic were created by Muse, teamed with Marvel Comics.
About the concert itself, it was shot at the O² Arena at London, on the 14th and the 15th Semptember 2019.
Several GIFs of extracts could be found before the release. Muse also teased the film with extracts used on Starlight, Uprising and Supermassive Black Hole on Spotify.
