Matthew Bellamy purportedly used a Gretsch G1627 Synchromatic Sparkle Jet with a hypnotic disc attachment, the same guitar he used earlier the same month on the side of Cannes Canal. The guitar apparently was destroyed through being thrown at an amplifier, while the disc came off, and a member of the audience collected it.[source?]
