Announced on 5th October, Muse will play at the MTV World Stage, which this year is celebrated in Bilbao. Muse have been nominated for Best Rock and Best Live.

The concert was part of the 2018 MTV EMAs, which was suposedly to be broadcasted live on Sunday 4 November, but it wasn't. The concert was partially aired on 22nd December. They soundchecked Pressure, The Dark Side, Starlight, Supermassive Black Hole, Madness, Thought Contagion, Mercy, Uprising, Knights of Cydonia and Plug in Baby the day before the show, and Pressure, Mercy & Uprising the gig's day.
