Another reason for registering is to ensure that you actually KNOW what you're doing, most of the volunteers in this project were generating quite alot of changes to the page because they hadn't an idea what was going on, and alot of trial and error was put into play. You can make the odd mistakes but it's best that you UNDERSTAND the wiki concept before you start wikiing away. You should only register if you want to contribute to the wiki, if it's stricting for viewing purposes then you can skip all the registering nonsense Hope you'll enjoy it :)
