Background

This guitar is one of approximately 140 Manson MB-1 Matthew Bellamy Signature Guitars so far built by Manson Guitars (as of October 2014). The first batch of 25 were released in September 2009 and this guitar is from the second batch of 25 released in September 2010. The specifications of the guitars are almost exactly the same as the Manson M1D1 Mirror but have the paint finishes based on the Manson Black Midi and the Manson Red Glitter.

Touring

This guitar got its first outing (as his Manson Red Glitter was damaged at the previous night's gig) on 11th September 2010 at the Wembley Stadium gig for all the songs in the setlist in Drop D tuning. After Manson Red Glitter Manson met its demise on 26th September at the Los Angeles Staples Center gig, this guitar was used for the 2010 Autumn American Tour until 12th October, when it was replaced by the Manson Santa 2.0 (21st October 2010).

For the first time in nearly 5 years, it was used for Supermassive Black Hole at the 2015 Rock im Revier Festival and used throughout the Drones Festival Tour. It didn't return for later tours.
