Description
One of the very early Muse songs, it appeared on the very first Muse EP. Its age can be told by it being more of a pop-like song compared to a lot of the band's other music.
Live
This song, Jimmy Kane and Con-Science are the only Showbiz b-sides to have never been performed live. While it is entirely possible and likely that the song was performed sometime between 1996 and 1999, there are no confirmed performances or footage available to verify this.
Lyrics
Confide in me
Sustain all my apathy You're such a mess You can learn not to confess
You will not find it in me Simply because I can't Wake up and find it in me I'm in a coma You will not find it in me And you'll reveal all your pains again
We'll fall asleep So deeply out of reach For years feeling dead We can fall right out of bed
You will not find it in me Simply because I can't Wake up and find it in me I'm in a coma You will not find it in me And you'll reveal all your pains again
You're such a mess but I don’t care Simply because I can’t Wake up and find it in me I'm in a coma You will not find it in me And you'll reveal all your pains again
Demo lyrics
Instead of
You can learn not to confess
The demo version has
You must learn to confess
