Announced on the 23{{supo|rd}} of September, Muse performed inside Zénith de Strasbourg on the 19{{supo|th}} of December, as part of the European leg of ''[[The 2nd Law (album) |The 2nd Law]] tour''.<ref name="muse_2012-09-23"/>  Pre-sale started on the 27{{supo|th}} of September at 10:00, whilst general stated on the 28{{supo|th}} at 10:00.<ref name="muse_2012-09-23"/>
 
This was the second consecutive gig (of The 2nd Law Tour) where Knights of Cydonia was played in the middle of the concert. Also, Isolated System was played directly after Stockholm Syndrome without any break.
 
Matt swore during Uprising ("they will not con -fucking- trol us").
 
For the last gig of the european tour, Dom wore a christmas hat during the encore and at least two of the backliners made an apparition in underwear during Plug in Baby (causing Matt laughing during the song). Matt thanked the crew for "setting up this monstruosity everyday" about the pyramid set.
