Background
This is a modded Manson MB-1 completed by Mansons in October 2012. The initial idea was to transform an MB-1 (from the second batch) into the M1D1 (one of Matt Bellamy's infamous guitars which now resides in the Mansons shop split in two). Due to differences in wood the back of the guitar was to have a different finish to the original as well as featuring a brand new ebony fretboard neck with cracked mirror headstock. The final guitar is more of a blend of two previously built manson guitars taking in different design and styling elements to make this unique 'Manson M1B1'.
The back has a unique metallic finish used on a few old Mansons back in 2006. The same paint was used on this guitar.
All work carried out by Tim and Hugh at Mansons.
