The concert was part of the first European leg of The Resistance Tour, in support of the album The Resistance, announced on the 1st of June, 2009.[1] Fan pre-sale information and links were announced on the 3rd of June.[4] Pre-sale took place between 17th and 19th,[4] and general sale started on the 19th.[1]
