"Hysteria" was released as the third single from Absolution in Europe and the second in the US, for which a new video was recorded. It was announced as the third single from Absolution in September 2003,[1] shortly after which Matt confirmed that the b-side would be "Eternally Missed".[2] The artwork for the 7" cover was chosen in a competition announced in October 2003, and the winner was Adam Fulkus.[3] The DVD includes a gallery of photos of the runner-up images.
