The concert was part of the first European leg of The Resistance Tour, in support of the album The Resistance, announced on the 1st of June, 2009.[1] Fan pre-sale information and links were announced on the 3rd of June.[5] Pre-sale took place on the 4th–5th through FNAC Spectacles[5] and general sale started on the 5th.[1] The concert has been promoted by Alias.[2]
