Top Gear or Lotus Turbo Challenge 2?

I was just reading the Wiki page for the SNES game Top Gear (don't ask me why, my brain goes to weird places when I'm procrastinating) and I saw something interesting about the music in Top Gear. It was apparently just lifted straight out of another racing game called Lotus Turbo Challenge 2. So, if Bellamy did indeed compose the intro from Bliss by ripping off Top Gear he ripped off a game which had already ripped off another game!

To me, it's even more likely Bellamy got the music from Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 rather than Top Gear too, because Lotus Turbo Challenge 2 was on the Amiga. I recall Bellamy saying in the Teignmouth interview he did with BBC3 that he had an Amiga as a kid. Since whether or not he got the intro from Top Gear or not is a bone of contention anyway, I thought this might be an interesting tidbit. Either that or I need to get out more.

I think when it comes to Musewiki peoples' interests will extend as far as knowing he ripped it off a computer game. Niall 09:23, 27 April 2010 (BST)
Meeeeh--if there's a coherent argument (with no sound rebuttal) and sources to back it up, I say include it. More (relevant) info is always welcome. --Tene 17:46, 28 April 2010 (BST)

Evidence for Top Gear?

The history of this article seems like someone starting an urban legend and nobody being bothered to research the topic later on.

If this later turns out to be completely false, man, I applaud the person who started it. They managed to fool a whole-ass game studio.

That is a dig at Muse since the Top Gear composer worked on this game. It even had a cover of the Vegas tune.
