The concert was part of the first European leg of The Resistance Tour, in support of the album The Resistance, announced on the 1st of June, 2009.[1] Fan pre-sale information and links were announced on the 3rd of June.[4] Pre-sale took place on the 4th–5th through FNAC Spectacles[4] and general sale started on the 5th.[1] The concert was promoted by Alias.[2]
