#REDIRECTAmpeg SVT-II Pro
The SVT-II Pro is a well-known bass guitar amplifier, produced by US amplifier manufacturer, Ampeg. The SVT-II Pro is a variant of the classic SVT, a tube bass amp that has been around ever since 1969, designed by Bill Hughes and Roger Cox. It was one of the first 300-Watt bass head, making it an important amp for bands playing music festivals and large venues. Introduced in 1990, the SVT-II Pro includes a few extra features, including a graphic EQ and a 5-band frequency control knob, which allows for a more precise midrange setting. The SVT-II Pro has been described as having "the classic SVT tone with a few modern enchancements".

Chris used a 90s Ampeg SVT-II Pro head plugged into an Ampeg PR-1832HE Bass Cab for the Showbiz tour, combined with the Marshall B150 Bass Combo, before he replaced it with the Marshall DBS 7400 heads. Together with the B150, it was one of his first bass amps used for Muse.
