The concert was part of the first European leg of The Resistance Tour, in support of the album The Resistance, announced on the 1st of June, 2009.[1] Fan pre-sale information and links were announced on the 3rd of June.[4] Pre-sale took place on the 4th–5th through FNAC Spectacles[4] and general sale started on the 5th.[1] The concert was promoted by Alias.[2]

The Show

Hullaballoons were released during Stockholm Syndrome. Howard and Wolstenholme played Nishe during the piano installation. It was played for the first time in almost one and a half years and was played for the first time without a guitar.

The bands' safety barricades on the towers were removed after being present for a few gigs.

First of the few instances during which Unnatural Selection was played in the first half of the setlist, instead of before the first encore.
