Information

The University of Guadalajara's Cultural Division were the first to announce the show (via MySpace).[3] Iguapop, the promoters in charge of the 2007-04-12 gig in Mexico City last year later announced the show on their website.[1] On the 30th of May the Muse website confirmed this concert, along with two more dates. Pre-sale started the same day via Ticketmaster,[4] while general sale started on the 1st of June at 11:00.[2]

Before the gig, Muse signed copies of H.A.A.R.P. at a local store called "Mixup Centro Magno Av Vallarta". Said signing was supposed to last for fifty minutes, between 15:00 and 15:50[5], but it lasted for about 35 minutes, starting at 15:00. Around 300 people queued but only about 130 of them could get their autographs[6] [watch].

The Show

After New Born, Dominic Howard covered the bass drum with a Mexican flag, to which the audience responded by chanting "Mexico, Mexico!".[7] Balloons were released during Plug In Baby.

Trumpeter Gilberto Cervantes, from local band La Dosis, was there to play the solo of City of Delusion and the trumpet part of Knights of Cydonia.

City of Delusion was played for the last time exactly two years after its live-set debut.

Speech

After Map of the Problematique Bellamy "Buenas Noches Guadalajara [?]".[8]
After Dead Star "Thank you very much".[7]
After New Born "Gracias [?]. La siguiente canción es para Cristina? [en: Thanks [?]. The next song is for Cristina].[7]
After Hysteria "Thank you very much"[9]
Before Starlight "This next song is for Caro Rodríguez"[10]
After Invincible "México ustedes son lo mejor"[11]

Media

All the show was fan recorded, you can watch it song by song below.
