The Glasgow Jam is a variant of the Helsinki Jam where it is performed in a slightly different key and featuring bagpipes. It is generally performed once a tour as a special tribute to Scottish culture. It was done once in 2009 as a little gag and pretty much forgotten until the band brought it out again in 2016 during the Drones tour. It's possible that the band may continue to do the Glasgow Jam once a tour in the future whenever the band stop by Glasgow. It is the only song performed live that has been exclusive to one city.

Analysis and Explanation

The Glasgow Jam is a unique variant of the Helsinki Jam where it is performed in a major key and features bagpipes. It was first performed in 2009 in Glasgow (thus giving the jam it's name) with Tom Kirk's cousin Calum Taylor on the bagpipes, likely done as a tongue-in-cheek tribute to Scottish culture. The jam was then given a surprise second performance in 2016 during the Drones Tour, once again with Taylor on bagpipes but this time also featuring 6 female highland dancers on stage. Matt also walked on-stage near the end of the jam, waving a Scottish flag in the air.

It's possible that the band may continue to do the Glasgow Jam once a tour in the future whenever the band stop by Glasgow, and it also holds the unique distinction of being the only song performed live that has been exclusive to one city.
