Glorious was the first song to be performed from the Black Holes and Revelations era and the first to be dropped from setlists. Glorious was performed at several October and November dates during the 2004 Absolution tour before being skipped until the Earls Court performance in December. From there it was played once more in 2005, but never again after that. It is assumed that, had the song made the international release of the album, it would have been performed far more often.

The only performances of the song are early performances that lack many parts of the song that would see the final release including the piano. Many performances of Glorious available online are actually the 10/31/2004 performance under a variety of different names, including the 11/01/2004 and 11/02/2004 gigs. You can tell this by listening carefully at the beginning of the performance for a clicking noise from digital equipment, possibly a glitch in the audio. Glorious holds the distinction of being the only Muse song played live mostly in Canada.
Glorious would not be played at all during the Black Holes and Revelations Tour, and continued not to be played live for subsequent tours. Dom revealed in a 2016 interview that he would like to see the song performed live again since its one of his favourite Muse songs, but also disclosed that Matt has responded with "Fuck off".  


The likelihood of Glorious being played live again is limited due to its status as a b-side. Few songs from the Black Holes and Revelations era are played live today, further limiting the possibility of a return. Dom revealed in a 2016 interview that he would like to see the song performed live again since its one of his favourite Muse songs, but also disclosed that Matt has responded with "Fuck off".

After twelve years, Glorious was finally performed again at the 2017 Shepherd's Bush Empire by request gig as a fan request. Dom once again stated at the gig that the song was one of his favourites and that he'd been trying to get Matt to play it for years as he previously mentioned.
