Morgan plays bass on live performances of Hoodoo, as well as on all the songs at the 2004 V Festival, due to Chris breaking his wrist playing football. Videos of Morgan playing Hysteria and Sing For Absolution at this gig are available on the internet. Morgan did not play for Muse regularly at this time.
On the two videos from the festival, Morgan was using Chris's Fender Jazz Bass and his black Status bass, however he said that Chris was very protective of his instruments, and when he left his bass at a previous gig, he had to borrow one elsewhere.
