Matt's tessiture
I don't understand. It is written his tessiture spans F#2 to C6, though, it is written underneath that he reached C#6 and downed to A2. Why therefore, does he have as tessiture from F# 2 to C6 ??
Ab7
Is a chord not a note, I don't believe he hit a chord on his own...
- good point, maybe the 7th Ab is meant?... --Wilfio 21:26, 26 February 2007 (GMT)
- That's what's meant. --Tene 21:29, 26 February 2007 (GMT)
- Perhaps someone should check this? The 7th Ab is at the very top of the piano (the piano starts at 0 so maybe it's a miscount). I pride myself on being able to hit everything Matt sings so, unless there is a background vocal I haven't heard, I'm pretty sure it's not a 7Ab.
Here is a link showing the piano and it's octaves [1]
--Timoty- The fact is lifted from the Wikipedia discussion page, which was/is incredibly detailed. The consensus there seems to be the 7th A flat. I do have a piano by the way :P --Tene 02:35, 1 March 2007 (GMT)

- From the way I read it, it was vaugely determined to be the 7th A flat. I am not doubting the fact that it's super high, but I am sure it's more around the 6th, not the 7th (which is rediculously high anyway). Then again, I might just have my keyboard octave placement confused. I'm just trying to be thourough. --Timoty

pictures links?
i think the pictures used for the sections should be linked to the pages so that when you click on them it takes you to the page rather than the image because it took me a while to work out that i had to click on the text! --Wilfio 02:13, 14 February 2007 (GMT)
- i think i will start implementing this
- I dont think you should, musewiki uses a similar (if not exactly the same) style as wikipedia, and new users could get confused when they try to look at a better quality image and find themselves on another page they didn't want Robinflight 15:31, 13 September 2009 (BST)
crazy kids
whats the image for the crazy kids section about? --Wilfio 02:13, 14 February 2007 (GMT)
It's the back of the US Muscle Museum single, in which the photo was taken at the Big Sunday gig. Alex G 07:37, 7 June 2007 (BST)
bigger
This place needs to be alot bigger.
Not an image fest though
merging
How about merging what me know about Bellamy? ie. pages such as the sock fetish & his "Jet Pack". -Tene

Recorder
Hey, Crazybobbles, Matt doesn't play recorder. And is the 'plays with himself' bit supposed to be a little inside joke? ;) StuCorciM 16:27, 10 September 2006 (BST)
Last name
Is "Bellamy" pronounced "bell-AH-mee" or "bell-uh-MEE"? Just wondering. --Salty 04:00, 29 September 2006 (BST)
- Or "BELL-uh-mee"? (She meekly adds a year later... So if someone has discovered the answer to this, I'd love to know.) --Terpsichore 23:35, 7 October 2007 (BST)
- I believe it's "bell-ah-mee" (no emphasis on any particular part of the name) but I'm not sure... If you say it quickly enough, noone seems to pay any mind -EmilyWine 02:35, 22 June 2010 (BST)
Spelt wrong!
MAT SPELLS HIS NAME "MAT"! WITH ONE "T"!! IT'S SPELLED WRONG EVERYWHERE ON THE SITE!!!! ZOMFG!!!!! http://www.musewiki.org/Image:Demo_II.jpg LOOK!!!!!! Salty 02:10, 4 October 2006 (BST)
- Actually, I checked two of my CD's (i.e. Showbiz), and it says: Piano/Vocals/Guitar - Matt (<- So I'm guessing maybe the above is a mistake?). --jaidev 09:29, 11 October 2006 (BST)
- And um, that could have been a typo on the casette thingy. It's more likely that to be a typo than on the CDs. Li10
References
Severe lack of references here. There're loads of unreferenced "facts" that are not easily verifiable. --Tene 21:04, 21 March 2007 (GMT)
Flow
This article is a bit random bit here-random bit there ish. It needs more flow, without being at the expense of excessive adjective use or bias. --Tene 21:04, 21 March 2007 (GMT)
conspiracies
someone should do a page with all of matt's bizarre conspiracies like: 9/11, H.A.A.R.P., new world order, exo politics (that's right! here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyOBqDs65BA) and so on
- What exactly is so bizzare about them?Solus 04:04, 5 April 2008 (BST)
- Well said, my friend. Dante Medici
Mellotron
I just received MM single CD2 today and realised that Matt plays the Mellotron. Is it worth putting it in his instruments or not because its basically like a piano. Cheers --Gilly 16:51, 30 April 2008 (BST)
first memory
I was just re-reading this page, and noticed something strange about Matt's memory of the broken mirror.. how can this be his first memory if it occurred one year before his parents' divorce, which was when he was 13-14? not really important i know, but still, there's something wrong in here.
:S
Hey I'd like to write a mail to Matt But I don't have his mail... Can I Have it?^^
- Qua@aol.com, but as the page on the Wiki says, there's o point contacting it. . . --Muserism 19:20, 8 January 2010 (GMT)
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?filter=lf#/photo.php?pid=4732354&id=63737395119&fbid=233492370119 Does anyone know if this Facebook page is valid? I know that there's hundreds of fan-made Matt pages, but this one is making some rather bombastic claims that I've never seen aMuser make before, so if someone could check it out that'd be great thanks! --Muserism 04:00, 8 January 2010 (GMT)
It's real. There's a link to it on Muse.mu, in the Links section. Stay safe, kids! 23:59, 20 January 2010 (GMT)
Moltrasio, Como, Italy
does anyone of you know if Matt is going to leave his home in Moltrasio after he left Gaia??--Martino 19:32, 22 January 2010 (GMT)
Doubt it. Highly. Stay safe, kids! 23:50, 29 January 2010 (GMT)
Smoking
matt does actually smoke proof! [[2]]
I found This Group on FB. Does Matt skoke?? I know that only Chris smokes... but I don't know...--Martino 12:18, 27 February 2010 (GMT)
I found This Video.... I tink it's just a joke--Martino 20:04, 2 March 2010 (GMT)
- Why do you think it's just a joke when there's a video of him saying he started smoking again and does it on camera?:S --Muserism 00:22, 4 March 2010 (GMT)
From the NME magazine here Dom seems to think it's only a joke. -Musekreak
B4 in Exo-Politics?
The article says Matt's highest "full voice" note is B♭4... correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't he hit B4 in the last line of Exo-Politics?
Could someone with musical expertise confirm this please? :)
- That part sounds to me like he's hitting an A4, as far as I can tell playing along to the lead vocal line. The song's in D minor and that part is over an A major chord, so B4 wouldn't really sound right there anyway. --Dyingatheist 16:41, 5 March 2010 (GMT)
New Girlfriend?
does anyone know something more about Kate Hudson and Matt?? http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/3011238/It-Muse-be-love-for-Kate-Hudson.html --Martino 11:23, 13 June 2010 (BST)
I've read that Kate attended the gig at the Stade de France and that someone saw them walking in Paris like lovers do. Here is the link, sorry it's written in french: http://fr.news.yahoo.com/5/20100614/ten-kate-hudson-en-couple-avec-matthew-b-e95f385.html
I have found this film: http://uk.eonline.com/videos/v54526_.html
Here we can see that Matt meet Kate and unfortunately he smokes -.-
New lower note?
In Cave, the version recorded in Melbourne ABS Studios in 2000, has a very low note after the first chorus. When he says "Please close your eyes and try to recreate". Anybody else agree?
- It sounds to me like it may be around A2, but I'm not sure it would really constitute a full note, or if it's in his chest or vocal fry register. In comparison, the A2 in Spiral Static is a full, sustained note in his normal chest voice. Here is the recording for reference. --Dyingatheist 00:01, 25 June 2010 (BST)
- Cool, just thought I should share it :)
Reference 9
What's wrong with the 9th reference? Has the NME article been moved or something? Suzie14 20:24, 11 September 2010 (BST)
- Was broken in this revision and not reverted but instead deleted. Fixed. --Tene 20:34, 11 September 2010 (BST)
Matt Hairstyles
We should have a page like this about Matt (and perhaps Chris and Dom as well) http://weezerpedia.com/wiki/index.php?title=List_of_Rivers_Cuomo%27s_appearance Swedol 18:05, 16 November 2010 (GMT)
A2 in MK Ultra harmonies
See 2:09 in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5uvk4iWY6o
I'm not sure if I should add it, since the note is virtually inaudible in the stereo mix. Thoughts? Spectrauma 20:37, 14 December 2010 (GMT)
- Couldn't hurt to add, the A2 in Spiral Static is almost inaudible as well. I think the lowest note I've heard him hit that is clearly audible is Bb2 in live versions of USoE. --Dyingatheist 20:52, 14 December 2010 (GMT)
Bass
Any evidence for Matt playing bass, or can that be removed? --Dyingatheist 17:26, 14 February 2011 (GMT)
I Removed It. **Lolzorz**
